I have also used my skills and experience with programs such as Adobe Illustrator in order to create some graphics for fun in my spare time. I have also worked with Berry lab technicians to produce wooden coasters with my personal logo imprinted on them.
Using Adobe InDesign, I created a graphic design adaptation of my professional resume. I incorporated my personal logo, contact information, skills, education, and work experience. It aligns with my visual brand in the sense that it uses my color palette and logo as well as my professional brand because it incorporates all of my skills and work experiences. In this way, the design resume represents an alternative, fresh presentation of a traditional part of one's portfolio.
To explore my musical passion more deeply, I created a scripted podcast to publish audio essays on songs that I feel personal attachment towards. I created the podcast logo in Adobe Illustrator. It combined a CD shape with my existing personal logo (minus the NWD initials). I included the podcast title in the top space, leaving the bottom space open for episode titles or alternative artwork for each specific release.
I created this design to serve as my personal logo using Adobe Illustrator. I use two five-pointed stars to represent the five letters in my name as well as five key skills I have (writing, copyediting, analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication). I also use the yellow and blue color scheme found throughout most of my professional materials as a part of my branding.
In collaboration with lab assistants, I created a physical coaster with my logo imprinted for personal use. This project served more as a personal experiment to see how some of the lab equipment functions. Seeing the laser cutter carve my logo into a piece of wood was definitely a fun and unique experience.
I condensed my design into a business card for easy dissemination using Adobe InDesign. The top third of the card advertises five key skills I possess while the bottom third provides contact information. I have also included my personal logo and incorporated the relevant color scheme into the design of the card. The opposite side of the business card uses the same color patterns but without the added text.
Using Adobe Animate, I combined my personal logo and my existing headshot through a brief animation.
